Currently in the 5th block of BC2020 @ UMA. I think the best reason for me in becoming a Medical Biller and Coder is the simple reason that careers in the medical field are very much needed and in demand for those specifically trained. Not to mention the pay rate is much better than in retail. I have always loved a challenge and this decision to enroll back in a school specialized to work in a medical environment is just the challenge I’d hoped for.

Iam starting the second week of the fifth course and I am loving it. I am so excited about finishing the course and being able to have an amazing career as a Medical Biller and Coder. I am also happy to be able to provide a better life for my family.

I have been long over due to a life change. I also have always been partial to the medical field. Coding & Billing is the perfect step for me. As hard as it is, I do love the challenge. Thanks to UMA I’m achieving my goals.

I had been thinking about this course for a long time. I had a job for ICD-9 coding wit on the job training and had a lot of problems. I decided to go ahead and take this course as I had never failed at anything before. UMA has been trememdously supportive.

Hi everyone! I have just started the BC2020 class at UMA-online.
It has really been interesting and same time very confusing learning billing and coding, but I think I’m getting the hang of it. For now anyway! I am dedicated to finishing and getting my diploma. I am starting week 21 at UMA in Medical Billing and Coding. I am having a freat time learning all that I am. I am having alittle difficulty in 4th digit codes, but all in all I’m not doing so badly. I am looig forward to finishing and getting my degree and certification so I can get back into the hopital environent.
